Turkey and Sweet Potato baby food

I have made some wonderful friends since having a baby. One of them is Shauna. And she had this wonderful recipe for baby food. I know it might sound a little weird, but I tasted it, and it is delicious! And my baby loved it. He is now at the point where he wants textured food and this recipe is perfect for that.

1 lb ground turkey
2 large sweet potatoes
500ml cottage cheese
dill

Brown turkey in frying pan.
Steam Sweet potatoes and mash with a fork. Leave chunky.

Add turkey, sweet potatoes and cottage cheese together and mix. Add dill to taste. Mix well. Freeze in ice cube trays.

  1. Hi! When they were wee ones (now they're in their 20's) I used to feed my kids almost anything I cooked... just blended it! Good for you for making homemade :)
