Combine in a deep pot or in slow cooker
4 cups water
1 litre apple juice
1/2 cup sugar
4 tea bags (I use Red Rose tea bags. But just any brand of Orange Pekoe will work.)
2 cinnamon sticks
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp nutmeg
(Do what you want with the spices, as a rule I use the cinnamon sticks, then play the rest by ear.)
Bring to a boil, then keep warm on stove or in slow cooker on low heat and enjoy! (Remove tea bags after about 10-20 minutes)
